I used those units on purpose for my non-tech friends\u2026 your am radio in your car picks up .54 \u2013 1.7 MHz and your FM radio picks up 88.1 \u2013 107.9MHz.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It has a very sensitive receiver with two tuners in it. I\u2019ve already used it to listen to shortwave broadcasts, ham radio operators in the HF bands, I\u2019ve listened to the Okaloosa sheriff\u2019s department dispatch frequency and I\u2019ve tried to see what I can pick up around 915MHz which is a ham radio band and a band for Industrial Scientific and Medical (ISM) devices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I\u2019ll likely post some videos to YouTube of things you can pick up in my neck of the woods and I\u2019ll probably put audio up of things I record with the audio recorder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This thing is cool: It\u2019s a software defined radio (receiver) that can pick up from 0.001 \u2013 2000MHz.
